In the late 1980's, Columbia was manufacturing bowling balls for Bowlers Warehouse as follows:
BW300 = Columbia WD (White Dot)
BW700 = Columbia YD (Yellow Dot)
BW900 = Columbia U-Dot Black
In the early 1990's, Brunswick proposed manufacturing bowling balls for Bowlers Warehouse as follows:
BW Hawaii Pearlized Polyester = Brunswick Laser Polyester
BW Hawaii Solid Black = Brunswick Black Beauty Polyester
These balls were mere engraving changes and/or color changes of approved ABC balls
so approved for ABC or PBA competition without additional qualifying.
