Adjusts to any wall covering. The Zip Box Blue 1-Gang 20 cu. in. Old Work Non-Metallic Switch and Outlet Box are designed to work with non-metallic sheathed cable in accordance with Article 314 of the NEC. Great for light commercial and residential applications, the box is crafted with non-conductive PVC for durability and is fire rated and UL listed to help ensure safety.

I tried other similar products before but this one is the best you can adjust it in and out with a simple turn of a screw, it doesn't matter how thick your drywall is you can always adjusted by turning the screw in or out I will only buy this type of product in the future, I highly recommended

I use these exclusively for every outlet and switch whenever I'm doing retro work in plastered or tiled walls. The nature of using those materials for a wall almost always yields random thicknesses and it's never near the half inch at which a standard boxes lands, but after setting and wiring the box I only have the turn the adjustment screw dial in the depth. Every device and it's faceplate looks perfect.
