For sale is a set of aluminum universal jaws to hold name badges, directional signage, thin plates etc. while being engraved. This is the premium pair with the adjustable end stop and the centering scale.
Please note that there are two threaded holes to attach the work stop. It will work on the left-hand side or the right hand side.
You loosen the stainless steel screw with the included hex wrench and move the adjuster where needed and then tighten the screw. The centering scale on these jaws is machined deep so it will never wear off and it is very easy to read. These jaws feature a very deep step which allows them to hold and support a larger thin piece of material without it flexing away from your cutter. These will hold a piece of material that is 2 7/8" or taller.
These are solid aluminum and will not crack like the plastic ones. These will fit on the new Hermes vises with the narrow or the wide pin spacing. 5/8" or 2 1/4" . The mounting holes are .1875" diameter and will only fit the machines with the 3/16" pins. Please note that before being packaged for shipping each half is rolled in packing material individually to prevent scratches. Then they are put in a bubble envelope for mailing. These weigh in at 15.5 ounces so they will go first class mail with a tracking number and delivery confirmation.
