  • Condition: New, old-stock Gepe Glass Mounts for 35mm. The mounts are in their original boxes, unused. I have checked each box, which is why I am calling them "Open Box." All mounts are in excellent condition. I have observed that the plastic mounts outgas slightly with aging, leaving a slight film on some of the glass pieces. The new owner may want to wipe each glass surface with glass-cleaner before mounting.

    Description

    These are unused Gepe 35mm Glass Mounts in their original box. There are 20 mounts to each box. The boxes are marked super-thin, and I have used them with a Kodak Carousel Tray for 80 slides. I do not believe that they will fit into the high capacity trays. The mounts are in as-new condition. That said, it is important to point out that I have seen some of these mounts need slight cleaning after 25 years in my closet. The mounts are not dusty or dirty. However, some exhibit an easy-to-remove film on the glass, similar to what you might have seen on your car windshield. Outgassing of the plastic causes this. It is easy to inspect and clean these mounts before you insert a film chip.
