For sale on a 'Buy it Now' listing are weld on spindle kits for the craftsman/fabricator in the garage building crazy wheeled creations, We've had customers outfit go karts, racing bar stools, big rolling tool box/war wagons, rolling display racks, and heavily modified coaster wagons, hose reels, BBQ grills, etc. etc.
You will find eight options for spindles and wheel hubs listed. The options will supply the following;
Set of weld on spindle kits, one LH and one RH, and two (2) American pattern front wheel hubs that spin.
Set of weld on spindle kits, one LH and one RH, and four (4) American pattern front wheel hubs that spin. For a creation with only one end that steers, but four wheels.
Set of weld on spindle kits, one LH and one RH, and two (2) Metric pattern hubs with American sized 5/8" I.D. bearings to fit the spindles.
Set of weld on spindle kits, one LH and one RH, and four (4) Metric pattern hubs with American sized 5/8" I.D. bearings to fit the spindles.
Set of weld on spindle kits, one LH and one RH, and two (2) American pattern front wheel hubs that spin, and two (2) American 1" bore drive hubs.
Set of weld on spindle kits, one LH and one RH, and two (2) American pattern front wheel hubs that spin, and two (2) American 1.25" bore drive hubs.

Spindle Description:
Spindles have a 5/8" O.D. axle that is 4.5" long. It has a 5/8" king pin. The weld on piece is made of 1/4" thick flat stock that is 1.5" wide. The length of the weld on area is 3". We have included enough axle spacers to allow tread width adjustment and to also make sure you do not have to thread the nut on the spindle too far.
Wheel Pattern Descriptions:
American pattern hubs and wheels have a three bolt pattern on a 2.5" circle. The hole in the center of your wheels will have a 1.75" size if it is American pattern. Another check to see if you have an American pattern wheel or wheel hub is to measure between neighboring stud holes. You will get approximately 2.125" c/l to c/l on an American wheel.
American wheels or hubs are drilled for 1/4" studs and nuts. Most American pattern hubs also have a set of 5/16" tapped holes for bigger studs and nuts. We do not provide the 5/16" hardware, and if you use this size you'll need to drill out your wheels to fit.
A metric wheel will have a 1.5" center hole (40 mm to be exact) and a smaller spacing on the studs. The c/l measurement on neighboring stud holes will be closer to 1 15/16" on the metric wheel or hub.  The metric wheels and hubs also have a three bolt pattern that is on a 58 mm circle.
The metric hubs and wheels will be drilled for 8 mm studs and nuts.
So if you couldn't resist the low low price on the Chinese supplied heavy cast aluminum wheels and very heavy Chinese or Taiwanese tires the metric pattern hubs may be your savior. Pay attention to the measurements above as there are more than one pattern of metric go kart hubs. Sorry for the pricing on the metric pattern hubs. They are made in small runs in the states of good quality material while the Chinese sourced ones are usually of inferior material made on a CNC machine that might run around the clock.
