List-4239-S Holley very rare 396 tunnel ram 750cfm for inline application

Description

List-4239-S Holley . This super rare carb was designated 396 Chevy tunnel ram.  Apparently edelbrock was involved somehow in design.  Before I get into history and coolness of carb it is missing the secondary linkage rod is missing and carb needs a complete rebuild  floats diaphragms etc shafts seem good but carb has been sitting on shelf for yeeeeeaaars. Built for dual carb inline mounting for larger engine dual quad setup factory cfm numbers are Hard to get but estimated between 730 - 770 . 1 11/16 throttle plates primary and secondary has no provision for choke airhorn never drilled for butterfly plate secondary vacuum diaphragm has vacuum port to connect to second carb . No metering block just a metering plate to shorten carb. Have seen this on ford FE dual carb manifolds.  Carb was out for extremely short time being replaced by center squirted series 660 cfm and I think larger 800 cfm. Have seen this carb used as Q carb on to replace 465 550 and 600 cfm on stock Class racing application just saying.  Need more  pics or info let me know emporiumdave . Date code 8B4 1968 December 4th week  Definitely oldy but a goody.
