We first use our gauges to level the scales using a laser.  Place the measuring rods on the scale with the magnetic in down. Once the scales are level and car is on the scales hang the measuring rods from the frame rail of the car. Place the flat bar on the top of your scale so that the lip is hanging down. Zero the laser. From here you have created a zero plane for measuring chassis heights.
