Minibike keyed jackshaft 5/8'' X 7 5/8'' long 5/8-18 thread unknown application

Minibike keyed jackshaft 5/8'' X 7 5/8'' long - threads are 5/8-18 - OAL is 8 3/8'' - usable length is 7 5/8'' - a nut is factory welded at one end - the threaded area is 7/8'' long - the usable keyed area is only 4 1/4'' long and shaft is not keyed entirely so I guess it is for a left hand drive set up - application is unknown and I would appreciate any help - I have two of these - there was some light rust which I cleaned off - you can see the original finish at the welded nut end - nos -
